About the Chef

I’m Charles Millington, the cook behind Char BBQ. Cooking has always been more than a skill for me. It is a way to connect with people through food that is made with care and intention. What started as a love for making good food grew into a commitment to doing it the right way, every time.

Every dish is cooked with attention to heat, timing, and technique. Recipes are a starting point, but real flavor comes from technique and restraint, doing simple things well rather than overcomplicating the food. I focus on consistency, balance, and letting ingredients speak for themselves.

Char BBQ is built on that approach. Food cooked from scratch, served with pride, and meant to be remembered long after the meal is over.
